The 360 photo booth is the single most-requested upgrade we get at Photobooth Guys — and the single most common question that comes with it is the obvious one. How much does a 360 photo booth actually cost in Ireland?
Short answer: 360 photo booth hire in Ireland starts from €750 for a standard 3-hour package, with everything included. Long answer: there is a bit more to it than a single sticker price, and this guide walks through exactly what affects the cost and how to get the most for your budget.
Here is what 360 photo booth hire costs in Ireland in 2026:

Every 360 photo booth hire we deliver across Ireland comes with the same fully inclusive package. No hidden extras, no surprise add-ons on the day:
A standard open air photo booth in Ireland starts at €680. A 360 starts at €750. So you are looking at roughly a €70 premium — what does that actually pay for?
Specialist hardware. The motorised camera arm, balanced platform, high-frame-rate camera, and ring lighting setup are purpose-built. It is a more expensive kit per event than a tripod-mounted DSLR.
Higher setup and operational demand. Levelling a 360 platform on an uneven dance floor, balancing the arm, and managing safety around a spinning camera is meaningfully more work than rolling out an open air booth. That is real attendant time.
Bigger output, bigger storage and processing. Each guest produces a 10–15 second high-resolution video, not a single photo. Processing, slow-motion rendering and cloud delivery costs more per guest.
The "wow factor" itself. The 360 photo booth gets shared on social media at roughly 3–4× the rate of a print-based booth. For corporate clients, that earned media is exactly what they are paying for.
The €750 starting price covers the typical 3-hour weekend booking within 90 minutes of our Dublin or Athlone hubs. Here is what can move the final number up or down:
Duration. Most events run on 3 hours, which lines up with the typical "post-meal to second drinks round" window at weddings and the peak hour at corporate events. Additional hours are available and are usually cheaper per hour than the base rate.
Day of the week. Saturdays in June, July, August and December are our busiest dates. Friday nights, Sundays and midweek bookings often come with better availability and sharper pricing.
Travel distance. We have kits based in Dublin and the Midlands (Athlone, Westmeath), which covers most of the country at no extra charge. For very remote venues — far west Mayo, west Cork, or Donegal — a small travel supplement applies. See our nationwide coverage page for the full picture.
Custom branding. Standard overlays with names, dates and hashtags are included. Fully branded platform wraps, bespoke intro videos, and on-brand 3D motion graphics for corporate launches sit at the higher end of the range.
Bundling. Adding a audio guestbook, a selfie mirror, or a print-based enclosed booth alongside the 360 reduces the per-item cost meaningfully — for many weddings, two booths costs less than one and a half at separate-supplier rates.
For most weddings and corporate events, yes — but the honest test is whether you actually want the kind of content a 360 produces.

A traditional photo booth is probably better value if:
We have an entire post breaking this question down in more depth — have a read of is a wedding photo booth worth the cost before you commit either way.
Book early. Our 10–15% early booking discount applies to 360 hires booked more than 6 months out. For peak dates that is the single biggest lever you have on price.
Bundle a second booth. A 360 plus an audio guestbook, or a 360 plus an open air booth, comes in significantly cheaper than booking each separately — and gives the older guests a print option while the younger crowd does the 360.
Move off Saturday if you can. A Friday or Sunday booking in peak season can save 10–15% on its own. For corporate clients, midweek is even better.
Pick a venue close to a hub. If your date is flexible and your venue choice is open, picking somewhere within an hour of Dublin or Athlone keeps you in our standard pricing tier.
Get a written quote — not a verbal one. Always. We send a full itemised quote with every line included, every limit stated, and no asterisks — ask any supplier to do the same.
A 3m × 3m clear floor area is comfortable for a standard 360. Ceiling height needs to be at least 2.7m for the camera arm to clear safely. For corporate setups with a larger crowd, we recommend 4m × 4m to give a queue room to form.
No — the output of a 360 is video, not photo. If you want guests to leave with a printed memento, bundle the 360 with an open air or enclosed booth, or with a Guinness pint printer for an extra Irish twist.
Yes, but it needs a flat, level surface, dry conditions, and a power source within roughly 15m. We do plenty of outdoor 360s during summer weddings and brand activations — just flag it early so we can plan power and lighting.
Our standard 360 hire is 3 hours of live operation. We can do shorter bookings for very small events or corporate activations, but the per-hour rate goes up for sub-3-hour hires because the setup and pack-down work is the same regardless.
For a Saturday wedding or December corporate event, aim for 4–8 months ahead — ideally as soon as your date is confirmed. Midweek and off-peak dates can sometimes be booked 4–8 weeks out, but the best discount tier closes earlier.
Every event is a little different, so the most accurate number for your 360 photo booth hire is always a tailored quote rather than a starting price. Tell us the date, the venue, the rough guest count and whether you want any add-ons — we will come back with a single inclusive number, usually within a few hours.
